India, April 2 -- Aluminium prices dropped Rs 1.15 to Rs 244.10 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday as market participants reduced positions amid a sluggish spot market trend.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), May aluminium contracts fell 0.47% with a turnover of 384 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to lower demand from consuming industries, leading to reduced market positions.
