India, June 3 -- Aluminium prices dropped by Rs 2.65 to Rs 237.10 per kilogram in futures trading on Tuesday, as traders pared their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for July delivery slipped Rs 2.65 or 1.11% to Rs 237.10 per kg, with a volume of 510 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline to reduced buying interest from consuming industries, which led to a pullback in prices.
