India, Nov. 3 -- Allcargo Logistics Limited announced that the demerger of its international supply chain business, along with the merger of its domestic operations, has officially come into effect from November 1.
As part of the composite scheme of arrangement, the company has separated its global supply chain business into a new entity named Allcargo Global Limited.
Post-demerger, Allcargo's domestic express distribution and consultative logistics divisions will be merged into the existing Allcargo Logistics Limited, a move aimed at streamlining operations, improving synergy, and driving value creation, the company stated.
