India, March 12 -- Ai+ Smartphone has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL), a subsidiary of Optiemus Infracom Limited, to produce smartphones and other smart devices in India.
Under the agreement, the two companies plan to invest approximately ?125 crore over the next five years to expand manufacturing capabilities in India, in line with the Government's Make in India initiative. The collaboration is expected to generate around 1,200 direct and indirect jobs across manufacturing, operations, and supporting functions.
