India, March 25 -- The Farmers Registry under the AgriStack digital public infrastructure has crossed 9.2 crore Farmer IDs across India as of March 19, 2026, providing a unified digital identity to landholding farmers, including women, tenants, and sharecroppers.
The initiative enables seamless access to government schemes such as PM-Kisan, crop insurance (PMFBY), MSP procurement, credit facilities, input distribution, and disaster relief through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
