India, Feb. 9 -- Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) on Monday said it has secured long-term financing from a consortium of Japanese banks for its 950-km Bhadla–Fatehpur high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission project, a key infrastructure initiative for evacuating renewable energy.

The project is expected to play a critical role in transmitting green power from Rajasthan's solar-rich regions to the national grid, supporting India's growing clean energy requirements, the company said in a statement.
