India, Oct. 31 -- Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) is planning a capital expenditure of up to Rs 18,000 crore in the current financial year (FY26), including Rs 6,000 crore already spent on various ongoing projects, according to a senior company official.
During an earnings call, AESL CEO Kandarp Patel outlined the company's investment plans across key business segments.
"For the full year, we will do about Rs 11,400 crore in transmission, Rs 1,600 crore in distribution, and Rs 4,000 crore in smart metering," Patel said.
He added that AESL will invest an additional Rs 8,000 crore in transmission, Rs 1,100 crore in distribution, and Rs 2,000 crore in smart metering during the second quarter.
