India, June 13 -- ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. has successfully commissioned an additional 19.8 MW capacity of its maiden wind energy project in Shapar, Gujarat, raising the total operational capacity of the project to 46.2 MW out of the planned 50 MW. The remaining capacity is expected to be commissioned in the coming days.

With this milestone, ACME Solar's total installed renewable energy capacity has increased to 2,826.2 MW.

Strategically located in one of India's most wind-rich regions, the project is being developed under the company's special purpose vehicle, ACME Pokhran, and is funded by Power Finance Corporation (PFC).
