India, Nov. 23 -- Earlier this week, reports by WABetaInfo stated that Whatsapp was working on a new desktop launch feature to enhance security. This feature has now been rolled out to Beta users to test its efficacy. The idea is that users can leave their desktops unattended after setting a password on the Whatsapp Desktop application to restrict access to chats. This feature will be particularly beneficial for people who share their desktops with others. It is expected to roll out to all users in a few days.
