Dhaka, Nov. 1 -- Poet Mohammad Nurul Huda recently received SAARC Literary Award at a programme, held at CD Deshmukh Auditorium of India International Centre in New Delhi. Indian poet and Sahittya Academy Professor Chandrashekhara Kambara handed over the award to the poet at the event. Besides Nurul Huda, Maldivian poet and researcher Ashraf Ali and Nepalese poet Bhishma Upreti have received the award this year.

Mohammad Nurul Huda is a noted poet and novelist. He has written more than fifty poetry books. He was awarded the Ekushey Padak in 2015.
