India, Jan. 19 -- WhatsApp down trended heavily on Twitter on Sunday afternoon with over 35,000 tweets on users being unable to send screenshots, pictures, videos, and other media. The problem, however, seems to have resolved now.

"WhatsApp is unable to send images, videos, GIFs, audio and stickers," said the WABetaInfo account that usually tweets the latest news and updates about the Facebook owned free messaging platform. "I haven't been able to send pictures, videos or even screenshots since afternoon. But I thinks it is working now," said another user. Some users have even reported problems in sending out and viewing status updates.
