India, April 13 -- IIT Kharagpur is offering a weekend online course on R programming and data analytics through its Vinod Gupta School of Management. The course aims at creating data analysts and introductory data scientists with a focus on managerial applications of analytics. Participants will be trained on the hands-on usage of R programming, and will also gain data analytics skills and its applications in real-world situations.

The course will be conducted on the weekends for three hours on Saturday and Sunday, and the teaching methods consist of lecture sessions, hands-on-exercises, discussion on cases and live problems.
