India, July 7 -- CBSE has just announced that a revised academic curriculum will be introduced for the session 20-2021 and the syllabus will be reduced for school students from classes 9 to 12. "The changes made in the syllabi have been finalised by the respective course committees with the approval of the curriculum committee and the governing body of the board," reads a notification from CBSE.

CBSE says that this decision has been taken keeping in view the prevailing health emergency in the country and different parts of the world. CBSE says that the syllabus has been rationalised as much as possible while retaining the core concepts. The new syllabus can be accessed on the official website.
