Pakistan, June 29 -- President Asif Ali Zardari has declared Justice Sarfraz Dogar as the senior-most judge of the Islamabad High Court (IHC). The decision comes following a Supreme Court directive that referred the matter of judicial seniority and transfers to the President for final determination.
In an official move, the President also made permanent the transfers of Justice Dogar and two other judges, which had previously raised legal debates. Alongside this declaration, the President released an updated seniority list for IHC judges.
