Pakistan, Aug. 2 -- In a bold show of support for Palestinians, Yemen's armed forces launched a ballistic missile at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport. The hypersonic missile, named 'Palestine-2', reportedly struck its target successfully near Tel Aviv. Following the attack, over 4 million Israelis were forced to take shelter, and airport operations were temporarily suspended.
According to Iranian state media, Yemen's military confirmed the strike in an official statement. The missile attack was part of an ongoing air blockade campaign intended to pressure Israel to end its war in Gaza. Yemen says this is also a direct response to Israel's total siege of the region.
