Pakistan, July 24 -- The World Bank has praised Pakistan's ongoing macroeconomic recovery and commended the government for leading the country toward financial stability and long-term sustainable growth. This recognition came during a meeting between World Bank's Regional Vice President for MENAAP Ousmane Dione and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz thanked the World Bank President Ajay Banga and former Country Director Najy Benhassine for their important role in shaping the new Country Partnership Framework (CPF). He highlighted how CPF aligns with Pakistan's key priorities, including energy development, human capital, climate resilience, and governance reform.
