Pakistan, Oct. 11 -- Pakistan captain Shan Masood said bowling out the opposition is more important than scoring big runs in the upcoming Test series. The two-match series against South Africa will begin at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday. Pakistan has prepared spin-friendly pitches to help their bowlers take 20 wickets needed to win.

Speaking at a press conference, Shan said Pakistan wants pitches that lead to results, not draws. He explained, "Sometimes you sacrifice runs to create chances for 20 wickets." This approach aims to use home advantage better than before.
