Pakistan, July 12 -- Italy's rising tennis star Jannik Sinner pulled off a major upset on Friday by defeating Novak Djokovic in the second men's semi-final at Wimbledon 2025. The 22-year-old Italian outclassed the seven-time Wimbledon champion in straight sets, winning 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 in front of a packed Centre Court.
Sinner showed incredible composure and aggressive play from the start. He broke Djokovic's serve early in each set and maintained the momentum, keeping the Serbian legend under pressure. Djokovic, 37, appeared off rhythm and struggled to respond to Sinner's deep groundstrokes and pinpoint accuracy.
