Pakistan, Jan. 25 -- The World Health Organisation said it deeply regrets the United States' official withdrawal and expressed hope that Washington will reconsider its decision and rejoin global health cooperation in the future.
The warned that the move could weaken public health efforts not only inside the United States but also across the wider international community.
The United States formally exited the organisation on Thursday after months of debate and repeated warnings from health experts about potential long-term consequences.
