Pakistan, July 26 -- The World Bank has commended Pakistan's efforts to promote inclusive economic growth and human development. Ousmane Dione, the Bank's Vice President for the MENAAP region, concluded a three-day visit to the country on Friday. This was his first official visit since Pakistan joined the newly expanded regional group.

During his meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and senior ministers, Dione discussed Pakistan's key development challenges and the importance of structural reforms. He also reviewed progress on the new Country Partnership Framework, which outlines future collaboration between Pakistan and the World Bank.
