Pakistan, Feb. 6 -- US military equipment abandoned during the 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan is reportedly fueling regional and global terrorism through a combination of intentional sales, illicit black markets, and internal Taliban mismanagement. Recent investigations from 2025 and 2026 indicate that approximately half a million pieces of weaponry have been lost, sold, or smuggled since the withdrawal. This factor alone has deeply impacted the nature of cross-border terrorism spiraling in two provinces of Pakistan ie Baluchistan and KPK.
