Pakistan, June 18 -- The United States has announced the temporary closure of its embassy in Jerusalem from Wednesday through Friday due to growing regional tensions and security concerns. The decision was made in line with guidance from Israel's Home Front Command, according to a statement by the US State Department.
Alongside the embassy in Jerusalem, consular services in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv will also remain suspended during this period. The State Department emphasized the step as a necessary precaution to ensure the safety of diplomatic personnel and the public amid ongoing threats in the region.
