Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has announced the loss of nearly 5,000 jobs this year as the grapples with a severe funding shortage amid rising global displacement. The organisation, already overwhelmed by humanitarian challenges, is facing one of its toughest financial periods in decades, following major cuts in international aid.
