Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- It is a well known fact that Jammu and Kashmir has been a UNSC recognized international dispute between Pakistan and India since 1947. Both countries fought their first war in Kashmir in 1947/48. At India's request, the UNSC intervened, and vide its Resolution 47 adopted on 21 April 1948, the UNSC asked for the cease fire, and decided that the accession of the state to Pakistan or India will be done through a free and impartial plebiscite, as was agreed by both, Pakistan and India.
