Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- The United Nations human rights chief, Volker Turk, welcomed President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan on Saturday. He called it a "vital opportunity" to end the long-running war in Gaza. Turk urged all sides to act in good faith and support a lasting ceasefire. He said the plan could stop the bloodshed once and for all and help rebuild the region. His comments were shared on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
