British fighter jets have carried out their first NATO air defence mission over Poland in response to recent Russian drone incursions, the UK government confirmed on Saturday. The operation, part of NATO's Eastern Sentry mission, is aimed at strengthening the alliance's collective defence and deterring aerial threats from Russia. Defence Minister John Healey stressed that the mission sends a strong signal that NATO airspace will be protected against any violation.
