Pakistan, Feb. 6 -- The United Arab Emirates signed major agreements with the United States and the Democratic Republic of Congo to boost its role in the global critical minerals supply chain. The deals aim to strengthen mining, processing, and economic cooperation, while securing essential materials for the energy transition. Abu Dhabi also expanded its port and infrastructure presence in central Africa to support these initiatives.
Under the framework with the United States, both nations will identify, finance, and develop projects in mining, processing, recycling, and downstream sectors.
