Pakistan has confirmed two new polio cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The cases appeared in Lakki Marwat and North Waziristan districts. These areas remain hotspots despite ongoing vaccination efforts. This brings the total polio cases in Pakistan to 26 for the year 2025.
The National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) reported the new cases. It stressed that high-quality polio vaccination campaigns continue in southern KP. These campaigns help protect children from the deadly virus. NEOC officials highlighted that vaccinations are critical to stop the spread.
