Pakistan, June 19 -- ANKARA - Turkey has tightened security along its border with Iran in response to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, a Turkish Defence Ministry source confirmed on Thursday. However, no irregular migrant flow has been observed so far.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the source said Ankara remains alert and has taken precautionary measures to maintain peace along its eastern frontier. Turkey aims to stay fully prepared in case the situation escalates further.

To strengthen its defenses, Turkey continues to build a layered and integrated air and missile defense system. This system is being developed using locally produced radar and weapon technologies to boost national security and combat readiness.
