Pakistan, July 2 -- US President Donald Trump has escalated his feud with Elon Musk by threatening to end billions of dollars in federal subsidies for Musk's companies Tesla and SpaceX. The conflict reignited after Musk criticized Trump's recent tax-cut and spending bill, which aims to remove electric vehicle subsidies benefiting Tesla.

Trump told reporters that Musk is upset about losing the electric vehicle mandate and warned he could lose much more, including government support. Tesla's shares fell more than 5% following the president's remarks. Musk responded on social media, demanding that all subsidies be cut immediately.
