Pakistan, Feb. 7 -- US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday targeting countries that trade with Iran. The move allows fresh tariffs on nations doing business with Tehran. The order follows indirect talks between the US and Iran in Muscat, Oman.

The tariffs may affect imports from countries including Russia, Germany, Turkiye, and the UAE. The executive order allows the US to impose up to 25 percent tariffs, as previously threatened. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will determine the final rate for affected goods.
