US President Donald Trump met Muslim leaders in New York to present his Trump Gaza peace plan. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly and included Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Turkiye, and Indonesia also joined. Trump said the group had the power to bring hostages home and to stop the war. He called the meeting "very important" for ending a conflict that should never have started.
