Pakistan, Oct. 14 -- Iran has rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's recent peace appeal, calling it contradictory to his hostile policies toward Tehran. The Iranian Foreign Ministry accused Washington of adopting a "criminal and hostile" attitude despite offering talks. This statement followed Trump's speech in Israel's parliament, where he showed willingness to strike a deal with Iran.
The ministry said Trump's peace message directly clashes with his aggressive actions against Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also criticized Trump in a separate social media post. He wrote that Trump cannot be both a "president of peace" and a "president of war" at the same time.
