Pakistan, July 14 -- WASHINGTON - Former U.S. President Donald Trump has hinted at making a significant statement about Russia on Monday, just before his scheduled meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in Washington. The development comes as top Republican leaders prepare a sanctions package against Moscow over the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Speaking on Sunday, Trump expressed impatience with the nearly three-year-long conflict and confirmed plans to supply Ukraine with the much-needed Patriot air defense systems.
