WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday condemned, but refused to apologize for, a racist video depicting former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama as apes, which was briefly posted on his social media platform Truth Social.

The clip, included at the end of a longer video promoting Trump's unproven voter fraud claims, spliced the Obamas' faces onto the bodies of apes while the song The Lion Sleeps Tonight played in the background.
