Pakistan, July 4 -- President Donald Trump has approved a massive $8.6 billion budget to expand the U.S. Coast Guard's icebreaker fleet, aiming to boost America's Arctic presence. The move comes as Russia and China continue strengthening their operations in the polar region. The new funding will support the construction of multiple heavy, medium, and light Arctic Security Cutters with advanced icebreaking capabilities.
