Pakistan, July 9 -- The Pakistani entertainment industry is mourning the tragic death of actor and model Humaira Asghar Ali, whose decomposed body was discovered in her Karachi apartment on Tuesday. Gizri Police confirmed the 35-year-old had likely passed away nearly 20 days earlier, unnoticed in the flat she had been living in alone since 2018.

The discovery was made when her landlord arrived with a court bailiff and police to enforce an eviction due to unpaid rent since early 2024. Authorities broke into the third-floor apartment in DHA Phase VI and found the door locked from inside. The scene showed no signs of forced entry or foul play, according to SHO Farooq Sanjrani.
