Pakistan, June 15 -- GILGIT - A wedding celebration turned into a heartbreaking tragedy on Sunday when a vehicle carrying the groom and his family plunged into a river in Gilgit's Chalt Nagar area, killing all six passengers. The victims were all members of the same family.

According to rescue officials, the accident occurred while the family was on their way to bring the bride home. The vehicle reportedly lost control while taking a sharp turn and veered off the road, falling into the fast-flowing river below.
