Heavy rains caused severe damage in occupied Kashmir overnight. Floods and landslides destroyed homes and property. Officials reported that 11 people died due to the disaster. Among the victims were five children from the same family in Reasi district. The heavy rainfall caused widespread fear and distress in the affected areas.

In Reasi district, rescue teams found seven dead members of one family. Local authorities said their house collapsed during the rainstorm. Meanwhile, in Rajgarh tehsil, four more people died in similar rain-related incidents. Many houses were damaged or washed away by floods. The situation worsened as water levels kept rising.
