BANNU, Jan. 15 -- Three people were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on a private ambulance transporting a patient to Islamabad on Wednesday. The attack occurred at Sperka Chowk in Domel, where armed men signalled the ambulance to stop. When the driver did not comply, the assailants fired at the vehicle, injuring three people accompanying the patient and damaging the ambulance. The patient and driver, however, remained unhurt.
