Pakistan, June 18 -- The Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC) has achieved a significant safety goal at its Thar desert mining operation, recording 15 million work hours without a major injury. The Thar coal mining project is a key public-private partnership under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), involving the Sindh Government, major Pakistani firms like Engro Energy and HUBCO, and Chinese technical partners, Gwadar Pro reported.
