Pakistan, July 11 -- Tesla is officially stepping into the Indian market, with its first showroom set to open in Mumbai on July 15. The new Tesla experience centre will be located at Bandra Kurla Complex, one of the city's top business hubs. This launch marks the electric vehicle giant's formal entry into the world's third-largest car market.

Despite Tesla CEO Elon Musk's repeated concerns over India's high import duties, the company has moved ahead by importing cars and accessories worth nearly $1 million from China and the United States between January and June. These shipments included six Model Y vehicles, chargers, and multiple Superchargers.
