Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said Pakistan faces terrorists who once defeated global superpowers. He was addressing the Police Martyrs' Day ceremony in Peshawar on Monday. He praised the sacrifices made by KP Police and Pakistan Army in the fight against terrorism. "These are not ordinary terrorists," he said, "they have defeated superpowers before."
Gandapur paid tribute to fallen police officers and offered support to their families. He announced Rs 50,000 financial aid per family and promised more benefits. He said the martyr package has been increased and expressed his wish to give plots to every martyr's family. "Our police sacrificed everything for peace," he added. "We are proud of them."...
