Pakistan, June 19 -- Terrorists targeted a key gas pipeline in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, blowing it up with explosives, police officials reported on Tuesday. The pipeline was responsible for supplying natural gas from the Batani gas field to Punjab province.

According to Qudratullah, assistant spokesperson for the District Police Officer (DPO) of Lakki Marwat, the blast occurred in the Torwah seasonal stream area. The explosion caused a massive fire and led to significant gas leakage, indicating the scale of the sabotage.
