Pakistan, Jan. 28 -- Punjab has approved a major policy allowing children under 18 to ride motorcycles under strict conditions. The Motor Vehicles Amendment Bill 2026 was cleared by the Assembly's Home Affairs Committee. The law introduces juvenile driving permits and sets safety rules for young riders.
Under the bill, minors aged 16 and above can legally ride motorcycles with supervision. The Juvenile Driving Permit will formalize licensing for these riders. Officials said the permits create a regulated framework for previously undocumented underage riders.
