The Afghan Taliban government has rejected reports claiming it has banned internet access in the country. Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said these rumors are false. He explained that technical teams are currently repairing damaged fiber optic cables. These repairs are causing temporary internet disruptions across Afghanistan.
