Pakistan, July 23 -- Authorities in Swat have sealed an unregistered seminary after a 14-year-old student died from alleged torture by a teacher. The incident occurred in the Khwazakhela area, where the boy was reportedly beaten and later taken to a nearby hospital by fellow students and teachers. Unfortunately, doctors declared him dead upon arrival, sparking public outrage and swift police action.
District Police Officer (DPO) Mohammad Umar confirmed during a press briefing that the seminary was operating without official registration. He stated that two out of four main suspects named in the FIR have been arrested, along with nine others. The police have also recovered items used in the alleged abuse from the seminary's premises.
