Pakistan, April 14 -- The Supreme Court of Pakistan required detailed reports from the federal government and all provinces regarding forest lands. The case was addressed by a five-member constitutional bench led by Justice Aminuddin Khan. The court emphasized the need for information on lands that are either occupied or up for auction.
During the hearing, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail raised concerns about Islamabad's boundaries and asked for updates. A government lawyer assured him that the issue had been resolved. Justice Mandokhail also noted that forest areas are increasing globally, while they are declining in Pakistan.
