Pakistan, July 17 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a high-level committee to deregulate the sugar sector. The committee will be led by the Minister of Energy, while the Secretary of Industries and Production will act as the convener. Other members include the Finance Minister, the Minister for National Food Security and Research, and the Minister for Economic Affairs. The committee will suggest practical reforms for deregulation and privatization of the sugar industry.
