Pakistan, June 13 -- The Meteorological Department predicts storms and rain across all districts of Upper Sindh. Strong winds and rain will help reduce the ongoing heatwave. People can expect cooler weather soon.
Meanwhile, rain is also forecast from today until June 16 in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. This will bring relief to many areas suffering from high temperatures. The weather change will lower temperatures significantly.
The country is currently facing intense heat. Just yesterday, Cholistan Desert and Sargodha recorded temperatures as high as 48 degrees Celsius. The heatwave has caused discomfort and health risks for many residents.
